Dr. Linda Oda

An Ogden native, Dr. Linda Oda is committed to making sure children have access to great schools and strong family and community support. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Weber State University, a Master’s degree from Utah State University, and a Doctorate of Education from Brigham Young University. She has served in many educational and administrative positions at Ogden School District, Weber State University, Davis School District, the Governor’s Office of Ethnic Affairs, and the Utah State Office of Education.

  • Has given 5000+ hours of service from 2014 -2017 
  • Lifelong advocate for children and families
  • Assisted United Way of Northern Utah with organizational development 
  • Helped develop and refine UWNU mission statement and core values
  • Directed early childhood efforts for Ogden United Promise Neighborhood and established the Early Childhood Committee 
  • Has represented United Way of Northern Utah on numerous community boards and committees
  • Currently serves on the Ogden City Diversity Commission
