The Treehouse Museum, 347 22nd St. at the Junction in Ogden needs a volunteer on Mondays and Saturdays that can serve 2-4 hours with their Art Garden assisting guests with special projects and crafts. They might also be able to assist with the museum’s “On-Track to Reading” program for preschoolers and toddlers. Tuesday through Fridays volunteers are needed to help with school tours that visit the museum. The museum is open Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. They are closed on Sundays. The Boys and Girls Club of Brigham City-Bear River is in need of mentoring volunteers to work one-on-one with youth completing academic activities. Catholic Community Services of Northern Utah is looking for volunteers willing to learn their new computer system that will check in clients for food distribution. This would be a weekly commitment for a few hours. Drivers are also needed to pick up food and deliver to senior apartment complexes once a month. The United Way of Northern Utah is looking for readers/tutors/mentors to assist in local public schools for students who are at risk.
